I can send you the Tilton files when I get home later this afternoon. What CAD program are you using?

yes if you can send me that because really is not necessary that the solid is perfectly drawn, which really need are the correctly measures and the grips in place. i use solidworks.
my email is manuelcrisman.fsaeusb@gmail.com

thanks !!

If the model is from Tilton, which you can get if you ordered from them or have a contact there, the model will be an iges or step when imported but is of good quality.

Hi guys,

I'm also chasing up the CAD for the Tilton 77 series master cylinders. I tried to get in contact with Tilton but I've had no luck. If anyone can help me out with either a Stp or iges file that would be great. My e-mail address is r.munro3@gmail.com

Cheers.

Tilton has an assembly drawing posted on their website with enough critical dimensions to make a fairly accurate model. It took me a few hours to make a SW model of the entire pedal box with this drawing:

Hi guys,

The drawings on the Tilton website is sufficient to create a drawing with however if someone could be kind enough to send me the model (Solidworks) I would be very greatfull.

I understand this however you need to buy them to get the CAD models. I wont be buying them for a while so would like the models to ensure my design is correct.

Hi! Does anyone know the max pressure on the 77 series cylinders? And do they have residual pressure?

I would assume the max pressure would be the same or greater than the calipers used for most FSAE cars (AP Racing CP4226, Brembo P34G) as they are meant to be rear calipers for motorcycle. I would not design the brake system to operate at any more than 1.5 ksi line pressure.

Thank you whiltebeitel!

I recieved a mail from Tilton, there is no residual pressure valve and the max pressure is 1200 psi. I asked about burst pressure, but it's not a published number.
