Hello FSAE competitors,
Composite Solutions Wheels is offering one-piece carbon fiber reinforced plastic wheel rims for FSAE vehicles. At CS Wheels, we understand each Formula SAE team takes a unique approach to vehicle design, weighing the team’s strengths and limitations in every design decision. Wheel design and selection decisions are no different and CS Wheels expands your team’s strengths with the F-Series carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) one-piece wheel rims. The F-Series rims are a bolt-on replacement for most FSAE 2-piece aluminum rims and can be custom-made for your unique wheel center design, improving wheel stiffness, reducing polar moment of inertia, and weight, while allowing your team to focus your strengths on other vehicle systems.
CS Wheels is currently conducting market feasibility testing for the 2013 spring season and would like to know your team’s interest level. Pricing and final product specifications have not been released but initial estimates indicate pricing between $350-$500 per rim. Please visit our website at www.cs-wheels.com (http://www.cs-wheels.com) or send us an email at info@cs-wheels.com (http://info@cs-wheels.com) for more information. If you don’t find the wheel size you prefer in our current product line, please contact us and we can consider your size in the final release.
