I notice this predominantly on Australasia cars, but I see large logos for companies such as Toyota, Ford, Holden, Mitsubishi etc; as far as I know all direct competitors...all on the same car..right next to each other.

Obviously it hasn't been a problem since I've seen it for years now, but is this something the teams have checked with your sponsors about? or have they simply taken the money with no implied exclusivity agreements, verbal or otherwise.

They are the 4 car companies with manufacturing operations in Australia and are the consortium sponsors for the competition.

Hi Steve,
the four companies you mention all make cars in Australia, and all are corporate sponsors of FSAEA. They rotate responsibility for the event, and this year was Holden's event.
As Consortium sponsors, all their logos appear concurrently on all the Australian event cars, and all documentation and event apparal etc. I have several polo shirts now that show all the brands, and I can't wear any as I work for a different car company =]

So they are not direct Team sponsor?

Do teams update their livery between Aussie and other competition?
