What problem could arise if we opt for changing engine specifications?? such as changing the horsepower and displacement..
Both ways.. technically as well as non-technically..

What exactly do you meen? We are all resricted on the air intake and displacment? What specifications are you looking to change? Bore and Stroke? Piston? Compression Ratio? Camshaft? All of these affect HP.

The problems are usually reliability, and longevity since you are going to demand more performance than was originally intended from the engine.
