Hi,
What is the difference between the two tire compounds R25A and R25B, they same or different?

Hi Drew,
thanks that was very helpful, now the problem is:
We had ordered tires from hoosier they have supplied us with 20.5x6.0-13R25A and 20x7.5-13R25B, we are running wider tires at the rear, but the compound difference is someting that concerns me,as to how the car will behave with different front and rear compounds,
Please enlighten me...

I see your problem. We run Goodyears so I have no personal experience to lend, but it sounds to me from the other discussions that the behaviour between the two does not vary too much except right at the limit, but you should be able to set the car up to accomodate that anyways. That and the treadwear appear to be the biggest differences.

Since I don't know where you go to school I don't know how difficult it would be to get another set, or if that is even feasible for your team. Your only option may be to just wait until you have a chance to test on them and see.

Best,
Drew
