Unless it's a 2012 and then I have no idea.

^Haha. The YFZ450R has been fuel-injected since its introduction in 2009. Yamaha's website claims that it has "Yamaha Fuel Injection", so I don't know if that means Keihin or Mikuni. If it's the former, fuel pump data is available here: http://www.keihin-us.com/_medi...uelpump_techdata.pdf (http://www.keihin-us.com/_media/pdf/fuelpump_techdata.pdf). The Keihin Type S is the pump in the aluminum housing on the LT-R450.

Pressure and amperage are easy enough to measure. As for flow, the pump seems capable of supporting 60 hp YFZ-R builds. The quad forums are your friend. Unlike the dirtbike community, those guys care about building power.

Anyone care to share the pump curve for this pump? The max flow rate doesn't mean a whole lot. A 50 L/hr flowrate of gasoline with a .5 BSFC is ~160hp... obviously this isn't the pressure the pump runs at though.
