'drivable' is very subjective in this case.

a few years ago a team I was on ran 40mm of scrub, had about 270degrees lock to lock. The car was exhausting to drive, but was 'driveable' all the same. Although I do recall one of the new-drivers after enduro that year:

Driver: "it's too heavy to drive! we need to investigate power steering"
Team Leader: "or you could eat some tuna, do some weights and harden the f- up"

I'd probably argue that if your drivers are engineers, then they aren't going to be ultra-trained for that sort of muscular enduro, especially if they've been working on the car....so a car that's easy to drive, gives them more focus on not hitting cones.
