I have a WRD diff that I am no longer going to use due to a change in design. This unit has about 2 hours of run time from being purchased new from Lee.
I can say that the unit was unbelievably sweet. Wheelspin was never an issue and the car handled the power great.
Here are some comments on the design from his website at http://www.willrace.com/cdd.html
"Internals are based on the WRD race winning modified Salisbury limited-slip differential with multiple ramp angles available for fine tuning. This modified design increases turn-in performance and nearly eliminates inside-rear wheelspin on corner exit allowing the driver to get on the power sooner resulting in faster lap times."
Save some bucks over buying a new unit. This unit comes with side bearings and two flanges as used with standard lobro style CVs. Again, this unit is like new - you won't be dissapointed.
$1950. now lowered to $1850 effective 7/1/09

Which model is it? Does it have the tripod housings, or the CV Flanges?

CDD 3000 - Lee at WRD can fill you in on any detail difference but the general model is the 3000
CV flanges - but they can be changed out by Lee as I understand it.

Are those CV flanges compatible with the Taylor Race housings? Or is that a question for Lee?

Yes they are standard sized parts and would fit Taylor's.

Those are 94mm CV flanges. They will not fit our small 02002011 tri-pods.

Correct Scotty, only the standard 94 mm CV flange, not sure of your part number.

The 94mm flanges that are on there now have a 78mm BCD
The flanges could be modified pretty easy to accept the smaller 86mm tripod housing with a 74mm BCD I bet....
