Expressions of interest:
I have several alu skinned alu honeycomb cored panels of varying thickness and sheet sizes.
The material is stored in Melbourne Australia and if i was to sell shipping would be the responsibility of the buyer.
This particular material was to be used as flooring in different aircraft, is still in it's protective plastic film and well looked after.

I will get all the details and post them up.
I have a fair bit of the stuff and am hoping to use some myself with the sale of the balance to fund the project.
The cost i'm asking is greatly reduced (advanced composites valued the entire stock at over $65k 18 months ago)
From memory: the skins are pretty thin ~0.8mm ?? i will check
several sheets 3600 x 1220 x 10mm
a few 2400 x 1200 x 12.7mm
an odd piece 1200 x 1200 x 30mm
but i will get all the details and post them up.
Cheers

1 x off = means i have one sheet
2 x off = i have 2 sheets
the off thing (as opposed to 'of') comes from "off the rack", "off the shelf" like in eng. drawings with the details an item stating 2 off required....

What is the material left from?

The material was originally intended for aircraft flooring. A company that repaired commercial aircraft went belly up, a recycling company bougth all their metal stock (they paid scrap aluminium prices for the stuff ~$2.00 a kg at the time!! Thieves) and i bought it from them.
Some is ear marked for my own projects, the rest is for sale to fund said projects http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.
There is of course Ayres panels in Western Australia, who make panels from 5052 skins.
