Now I understand why teams from other countries can do so much testing:http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/global_gasprices/index.html

It's much cheaper http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Correct me if I am wrong but i read some statistics of US oil usage and we get 17 percent from venezuela. Venezuela is also part of OPEC.

I paid $3.65 US per gallon yesterday -- a bit silly but our European friends have been paying this for years.

I have a feeling that the fuel economy portion will become much more important in future FSAE comps if the prices keep rising.

I can still get 93 oct for $2.65-2.75 a gallon...it has more than doubled in the past 2 years...and gone up about 33% in the past 3 months
beginning of the summer was $1.8x for 93

In Venezuela a galllon of gas is cheaper that a galon of water. Erick is right about the prices. We never worry about our gas prices, and I think we never will.

Erick, it's probably cheaper if I buy my gas from you and have it shipped to america
