Maybe not a fully legit topic for this forum, but I know there has been discussion on here about mini superchargers before, and I figured a few of you might like to see this. Plus the auction has ended, and I have no affiliation with whoever is selling..

Its the first time I've seen a blower that might be too small...Anyone know what it's off of?

Eaton, IHI and Toyota make blowers for 660cc city cars for the JDM. 660cc engines generally really suck naturally aspirated, for a few years now they blow.

You know, after doing some research, that would be perfect for an FSAE car, especially one with a off-road engine. In stock form, it makes 63hp on a kei motor. I found this on a forum. The guy seemed to be well informed:
"Fitted to upmarket versions of the Japanese-market Subaru Vivio/Pleo, this blower is lightweight and can be squeezed in very tight engine bays. It measures approximately 18.5cm in length (including the pulley) and the main body is around 15cm wide and 10.5cm tall. Although fitted by Subaru, the blower is manufactured by Aisin and is coded AMR300. This code suggests it displaces 300cc of induction air per revolution.

The 660cc supercharged Vivio engine is rated at the class regulation 47kW and has 84Nm of torque, so the AMR300 blower is suitable for only low power applications. This makes sense when you look at the small 45mm OD blower outlet pipe.

We'd be reluctant to push the AMR300 supercharger past 70kW - which means it's good for only sub 1.0-litre engines."

70kW is 90hp. That'd be excellent power in an FSAE car and as compact as it is, I bet you could mount one on a 450 for similar power and significant weight savings versus a superbike powerplant.

the only thing is can it take 10,000+ rpm of a bike motor, and untill they allow the restrictor to be put after the power adder any forced induction would not be very effective i believe.

they will never put the restrictor after the power adder... it wouldnt even be a restrictor anymore
