Honda CBR 600 RR vs. Pace compact C

In the last year we used a dry sump pump from aviaid.
But this year I looked for a pace pump. But pace said, that our pump speed (about 6500 rpm) is too fast!

Isn't the (water)pump rpm ~ 0,5 * engine rpm? Many teams use pace pump and a CBR600RR engine, don't they? :-)

(water)pump rpm is about 0,5x engine rpm, that's right.

I don't know which team uses a Pace pump with a CBR600RR engine. We asked Pace and a german distributor 2 years ago, they both said that the Compact C pump will only do about 4500 rpm safely, so we didn't use it.
