Thats a nice CAD model. Do you do this within your team or do you have other students working on your CAD model as part of a class?

We have a guy we call Super Dave. Think Chuck Norris, but replace ass kicking with CAD modeling.

All electrical components and wiring harnesses depend on proper circuit functioning, which is the transmission of charged ions by retention of the visible spectral manifestation known as "smoke". Smoke is the thing that makes electrical circuits work. Don't be fooled by scientists and engineers talking about excited electrons and the like. Smoke is the key to all things electrical

You bring up a good question Bill, many on the team have wondered this for awhile, I think on a standard run of the mill hurricane dave would win, but a hurricane named super dave, they would probably just join forces and fight evil dooers together.

When given the option to join the race team or have a life & good grades; I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference, in road taking, to my knowledge … considering I never went down the other road so who is to know. You know I am just not going to think about it any more.

Hey, first off nice stuff... I've been using 3dsmax for our car and the quality of the pro/e rendering is just a hair off from the pro rendering software from autodesk. Second, how come the car is levitating off the ground?! Top notch though, top notch.

the renderings are the easy part. they only take a few days to sort through all the color options, and a few hours to process on a dual processor compy. The cad however we’ve been continually updating all year. I’d say it takes about 10 hours a week ave. starting in august. It’s accurate to within .7 pounds of the entire car. (with or with out fluids)
