Its alive!
Videos below of our very first drive. No wings, no anti-roll bars and no attempt at set-up. This is straight out of the box. More videos and photos to follow soon. http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~fsae/monash2003test.wmv http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~fsae/monash2003test2.wmv Regards, Scott Wordley http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~fsae |

Heh, I noticed that too. Not a very good place for keeping rocks off the sensors, but it is quite discreet
Congrats on testing so soon, you are definitely ahead of the curve. -Charlie Ping Auburn University FSAE 5th Overall Detroit 2003 ? Overall Aussie 2003. |

Thats right Denny and Charlie, well spotted. There is also a rear rack but part of it was taken off because it was scrapping due to the lack of rollbars.
I personally know of at least 5 (or a third of) Australian teams that are logging tyre pyros this year, among other things. How does that compare with the states, I saw photos of Kettering with a rack. Stones aren't a problem if you design it right. Regards, Scott Wordley http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~fsae |

nice place for testing, those echos make the car sound awesome.
- the problem with the world is stupidity. i'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety lables off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |
