Would anybody be interested in a shootout at Pembrey circuit in Wales?
We could set up a figure of 8 on the skidpan and acceleration and sprint course on the racetrack.
There is nothing organised yet but us guys at Swansea institute have good connections with the guys at Pembrey circuit and it should be possible.
The proposed time for the shootout would be in early October or mid November

We'd definitely be up for taking part in the Welsh shootout. Actually, a bunch of us from Cardiff were discussing at Silverstone that a friendly event with the other Welsh teams would be a good idea, so thanks!!! When things firm up a bit, and if we can be of any help, email me clarkea7@cf.ac.uk

I thought i'd better add that this shootout will be open to all teams not just teams from wales.
Also if your travling distance away and planning to stay overnight, the race workshop at swansea institute is pretty huge so cars can easily be stored overnight.

Possibly, but i would have to talk to the rest of the team first.

Did this happen last year?

If something could be organised this year I am sure you would get a group from Swansea Uni willing to go.

If it was september time it would be a good way to get the lower level students enthused early on.
