Doesn't anybody else have some photos to share? There was quite a lot of really spectacular action.
For example the Miss FSAE Italy competition which I still can't believe they really did that. Italians are crazy...

Hey these pictures are wonderful! Why don't you publish them somewhere? I've seen two Zürich pictures, do you have more?
BTW: We uploaded one of our autocross onboard videos on youtube. Simply search "amzracing" and "Italy"

Guy's.. We are very sorry by not being there last weekend, Miscellaneous world crisis problems.

Out of curiosity, I saw a car completely under flames at FStotal.com, very scary stuff, I did think the driver was OK judging from images (thanks god!).. that's right?. But the car got the hardest part, sadly Frown.. From what team were that fire?. Hope they get the issue fixed and also the car isn't damaged too bad to run again!.

What do you guys think about rules comitee rushing at meetings to release some formal declaration regarding this?. I'm on this since 2006 i think, and i never saw such a fire at a competition..

That was/is the TU Darmstadt (Homepage). Nobody was hurt as far as I have information. But the organisers and marshalls did not help as well as the ambulance. Very sad scenario.
Maybe somebody from Darmstadt can tell us, in which conditions the car is - but I think the rear monocoque is damaged too seriously to drive again with the car.....

F SAE Italy Feedback

Hi all,

Please be free to send me your feedback from the Italy event. I think after this event a lot of teams have some positive or negative advice for the Italy organisation also for SAFETY (Darmstadt)

Please send it to "kevin . thomassen @ gmail . com" as subject "Feedback_FSAE_Italy_2009"
I will make a report about this event.

THX

Hey Kevin,

of course we will write a feedback about the safety during the FSAE Italy event. Just give us a few days, please.

"Funny" thing: After the fire the event ambulance (as the organizers) didn't care for our drivers and our guy who used the fire extinguisher. We had a medical student with us, so we were able to help ourselves...
