Time to open the thread for all things Formula Student 2007.
Please use this thread rather than starting a bunch of new ones*.
Good luck to everyone.

(*With the realization that B.J. kind of started one of these already)

We're at the University of Warwick in Coventry until tomorrow, then to Silverstone to camp with everyone else...should be a good time.

Good luck to all...

Well good luck to you all guys. This will be my first event in 4 years I won't join.. I understood that Silverstone is a lot nicer to be though! Just awaiting the results curiously...

Oh and ehm go Delft!

Looks like Helsinki guys have done their first updates.

Lots of carbon and suprisingly a new tilt table seem to be the most eye-catching things.

Yeah, that's Ross Brawn... he was at the UK event last year too and he is a sort of ambassador for Formula Student - always very interested in the creative solutions that we come up with ;-)

Btw, as TomF (hoe issie met jou? :-p) I'm also staying home for the first time since 2004, and the main disadvantage is that I can't follow the results! gheghe

Oh well, I just follow the news letters and stuff, and hopefullu there will be a videostream at at FSG this year, like there was in 2006

And to all the teams still in the running: good luck tomorrow in the Endurance!

Hey Marco,

Prima, met jou dan?

Results I heard viavia, Johanneum Graz did a 3.78 on accel. And some results of the Delft team, 7th on autocross (RMIT leading by 2 seconds), 4.16 on accel, 5.04 or 5.10 on figure 8. Good luck on finishing tomorrow!

I checked the site of Johanneum Graz, and it said that they won both Acceleration and Skid pad, with times of 3.78 sec and 4,996 sec respectively

If only someone had already posted a photograph of the result sheets on their team site! ;-) gheghe, that would certainly help

Apparently, Stuttgart won the Presentation Event, with a very close call between another (unmentioned) team - where the time limit decided the winner

My heartiest congrats to Jake, Grinchy, Ganesh, Lee and all the lads. That is a brilliant result, well done.

Also similar congrats to the crew from Delft. You were great competitors when we were over there in 04 - and it is great to see you getting results worthy of your efforts. Keep up the good work, and may you get to the top step very soon.

Cheers, and hope it was a good event for all.

Congrats to RMIT on another great win.

Come on guys, you can back off now, you really have proven the 'single' thing =] =]

Seriously, a fantastic effort. Pity you are not coming to Germany.

Cheers
Pat

Cincy finished 4th overall, repeating the performance at East. However, did much better in the static events, taking 3rd in design.

Overall, a heck of a competition and a great atmosphere/venue at Silverstone. Congrats are in order to all!
