... to all the teams who helped us by lending us their stuff while we had almost nothing 'cause our truck was retained at Windsor US Customs until 2 days before the competition ended. They are many, so i wanted to make a general thankful message. If you wanna see our car, well here it is, just minutes before we left Pontiac:

French Canadian terrorists eh??...Roll Eyes

I am so very sorry about your situation. I believe this is why many teams go through Sarnia... Fewer powertripping idiots.

Well.. to my opinion, most of the Custom agents are persons who are given way too much power relative to their limited IQ and judgement capacity by a paranoid system. FSAE Staff did their best to try getting our rig through the customs, but with no result. Start of the event had been for us a constant shuttling of stuff back and forth from customs to Pontiac. Chance is that we rented another truck just before the so called "tornado" warning, otherwise we would have had no hideout for storage... ah well s*** happens. Way too often Big Grin But overall, experience has been great in that it made our team work together like never before. We also had really awesome feedback from design judges.. just a shame that we could show everyone what this 465 lbs car can really do on track due to stupid oil leaks.
