Has anybody heard anything about a FISITA Cup? I understand it was announced at the award ceremony in at FSAE Autralasia. Something about FISITA awarding a small stipend to the top teams at each event to travel to one of the competitions. Any one know what the deal is?

The Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d'Ingénieurs des Techniques de l'Automobile (FISITA) was founded in Paris in 1948 with the purpose of bringing engineers from around the world together in a spirit of cooperation to share ideas and advance the technological development of the automobile.

Formula SAE / Formula Student is a series of competitions organised by several FISITA member societies around the world, in which teams of university students compete to design, develop, build and race – small, formula style cars.
