Anyone see the new Race Tech article on the FSAE-A event?

Well written article, and I was really suprised to see so much coverage! Happily suprised Smile

It was written before the scoring correction, which given magazines tight deadlines doesn't suprise me, but one thing I did notice that I was wondering about: The article said Swinburne had the fastest lap in the enduros @ around 45s. I didn't remember that being the case, I knew RMIT was up there, but the #4 was a very qucik car and I remember being impressed with it in auto-x, so it wouldn't be a shocker!

Maybe someone from Swinburne can clear that up!

Anyway I hope this kind of expanded coverage continues! Smile

I just got it yesterday, though I know there is a lag from the UK to here. It's got the Walrus on the cover. Smile

Well I forgot the endurance event times were posted on Racetime's site. Also, earlier in the article it mentions RMIT with the fastest endurance time so I guess it was a typo.

If you get a chance you ought to pick up the article, its got a lot of good material and worth the price of the magazine for sure. Smile

Hi all.
I just got back from a week in Queensland and got my first chance to read RaceTech.

.......quote Charlie "earlier in the article it mentions RMIT with the fastest endurance time so I guess it was a typo."

Yep, a typo. Mea Culpa. I reported 'RMIT' as 'Swinburne'. Apologies to all concerned. An error that slipped through in the rush to meet the deadline.

Hey Pat, didn't realize you wrote the whole article (knew you wrote the sidebar). Didn't mean to nitpick Wink Thanks for getting so much info about the event out in the public's eye.

If anyone wants to accidentally report "Swinburne" as "RMIT" in the Design scoring we are more than happy to oblige.

Cheers!

Design it. Build it. Write it off two weeks before the event.
