Title: Mechanical Engineer

UEC Automation is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer.

Requirements for this position are:
"¢ BSME
"¢ Minimum of 7 years related experience
"¢ Experienced in 2D and 3D CAD design software
"¢ Experienced in machine, actuation, and manipulator designs for automated production and test systems
"¢ Analytical capability including thermal, stress, vibration and tolerance analysis
"¢ Experienced in failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and risk analysis
"¢ Ability to create technical specifications for mechanical designs
"¢ Ability to lead the technical requirements of a project and guide other engineers/designers
"¢ Strong communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with the customer

Preferred
"¢ Experienced in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 2005
"¢ Experienced in plastics – selection of materials, enclosure designs and injection molding
"¢ Experience in sheet metal forming and coatings
