ArvinMeritor Inc. located in Troy, Michigan is looking for a Summer Intern in our Light Vehicle Systems, Advanced Suspension Engineering group. We are a Tier 1 Suspension and Exhaust System supplier, visit our website at www.ArvinMeritor.com.
Responsibilities:
Assist engineers in the development of advanced suspension systems; including benchmarking, prototype design, manufacture and build, prototype vehicle application, bench testing and vehicle testing.

Education/Experience:
"¢ Currently in or beyond Junior year of B.S. Engineering
"¢ Suspension design experience
"¢ Active member of university SAE program (Formula SAE, Mini Baja)
"¢ CAD experience (Solidworks is a plus)
"¢ Good understanding of kinematics
"¢ Understanding of vehicle dynamics theory
"¢ Background or experience with machine shop equipment and tools
"¢ Good report writing and communication skills
"¢ Experience with various modeling software a plus
"¢ Previous co-op experience a plus
