Blue Ridge Numerics creates & sells Upfront CFD software. Our flagship product, CFdesign, enables mechanical engineers to quickly & easily study fluid flow & thermal performance in virtual reality.

Our customers study everything from motorcycle aerodynamics to luxury refrigerator performance long b/f any physical prototypes are built. That variety translates into a world of never ending supply of challenge & experiences for BRN employees

We have several positions open in the US and Japan, including this one (more at cfdesign.com).

The quality assurance team is involved at all stages of software development. Working ensures defined requirements solve problems identified by CFdesign users.

The team has primiary responsibility for test plans; regression testing; quality checks of version updates; & supporting engineers on escalated technical cases – in a nutshell: the quality works!

Work requires
"¢ Relevant, substantive experience; engineering background / understanding of fluid flow & heat transfer
"¢ MCAD experience
"¢ Engineering software simulation experience; CFdesign a significant advantage
"¢ Familiarity /software development process
"¢ Troubleshooting & diagnostic experience
"¢ Customer support orientation; Superior teaming skills; Ability to manage competing priorities
"¢ BS in ME or Aerospace Engineering; MS ideal
"¢ Software QA, or creation & debugging of automated test scripts exp a plus
