Robby Gordon Motorsports is looking to fill an entry level full time position in their Nextel Cup engineering group.

This is a mostly shop based position, 50-60 hours/week (sometimes more), but would require travel to track test sessions, and rig tests.

Skills that are of interest are...(it's ok if you only have a couple of these)

Solidworks
Pi data acquisition equipment and software
Matlab
Labview
Romer or Faro arm use
Visual Basic
Light fabrication
Experience working with racecars (in a weekly series perhaps)
Wind tunnel experience
Any vehicle rig testing experience (K-rig or 7post)
Suspension simulation software


Applicant should be able to work with minimal supervision (we don't have time to hover over you), grasp concepts quickly, and work in a professional manner. Applicant should have a flexible schedule to accomodate the rigors of the Nextel Cup series, and be able to relocate (if necessary) to the Charlotte area.
