Guys/Gals....as a Formula SAE alum, I work for this company as a Program Manager along with 2 other former Formula SAE guys. We're not so much focused on GPA as we are hands-on experience (ala FSAE). The atmosphere is somewhat laid back and chill (although we do work hard). We're literally 5-10 minutes from the beach and the positions pay pretty well and could either be part time or full-time with benefits.
Working at SPARTA Composites you'll be able to learn alot about Program Management, hands-on Engineering, Machining, all the various methods of producing very complex composite parts (Autoclave, RTM, BMC/SMC, Press Cure, etc...), as well as bonding and attaching of composites to metallic substrates. The experience you gain here could very easily allow you to walk onto a very well paying position at a major government prime (Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, etc...) or an automotive company once you graduate. Don't let us down fellow FSAErs! This message has been edited. Last edited by: fsae_alum, In spite of... |
