Ten80 has short-term job opportunities that can be a gateway to full-time employment with HPI Racing (www.hpiracing.com).

We're looking to contract hire students who know cars and have experience with SolidWorks design and COSMOS analysis. You can see from our websites that we use 1:10 scale RC cars to teach pre-engineering, math and science to high schools. We need help building some car parts like the lower control arm and chassis underplate in SolidWorks then analyzing them in COSMOS. The step-by-step instructions and screen shots will go into a curriculum distributed nation-wide.

Are these design jobs going into production at HPI, or just for education?

Funny how you say "Just" education. It is dual purpose as we believe that education and industry shouldn't be as far apart as they often are. These designs will initially go into an educational curriculum but people at HPI Racing have asked our help in finding an ideal candidate for cars and CAD. We will help current high school students with this STEM curriculum and competition league. We will hopefully help a budding engineer and industry partner at the same time.
