Hi everyone. I just found this site and realized it had a lot of good info on it.
I'm looking into making my own project high powered go kart with my cousin. We're both currently in Mechanical Engineering (Quebec). Our school isn't affiliated with the SAE and probably never will be (School has about 500 people + old tired teachers ).
We're looking into making a 600cc go kart. It would be purely for the fun of driving and building especially.

I'd just like to know some of your opinions, ideas or recommendations on this matter. I will probably have many questions later, but right now I am just in the planning phase.
One question I have is if there are any classes for 600cc karts? If there are, where are the competitions taking place at?
I'd like to know certain rules before I start planning things.. that's if there is a class for 600cc go-karts.. which I've never heard of lol

I can't think of any sanctioned leagues off the top of my head. Biggest I've seen personally is 300cc karts.
