Competition Car Downforce and Competition Car Aerodynamics, both by Simon McBeath, are great introductory books. I've read the former and not the latter, but CCD gives some good basic equations and also explains how to make some composite parts (mostly wings). The Katz book mentioned above is also very good. McBeath also does an article at the end of every Racecar Engineering on aero that's usually quite interesting.
