I think some other southern Ontario teams' folks are going to the race....you guys can all pitch in with your pic here....
Some selection of the pics from today... my moment of feeling inadequete The "little" Porsche that could.... RS Spyder of LMP2 class(750kg)is fastest today during the practice, faster than the LMP1 Lola(860kg) and the mighty Audi R10(925kg). Audi R10 is surreal to see around the track, the thing makes no sound approaching the corner, and pulls away with a sound thats kinda like a smooth sounding bus pulling away from more than 2 blocks away, eventhough its right infront of you. |

Those will eventually be up....I am surprised(well not really) by the secrecy and the protection both Audi and Porsche have with their car though, entire time in the scruitneering tent the R10 has its bodywork off, but they kept a cover atop the rear and the front, so you really can't see anything.... |

wet and disgusting day to be out really.....but the show goes on, sorta....
Dyson Lola's record shattering lap in the morning practice turns out to be the pole lap as the afternoon quali was washed out. Which also means that Ron Fellows' awesome form in the pre-qualifying practice in the wet were counted for nothing as Aston had faster time in the 2 previous dry session. It is cool to get rain shots though...

There are shots of Porsche's rear end when they have just finished changing engine....some interesting a-arm pickup arrangement.... |
