I'm just curious as to what everyone here thinks of JPM going to drive for NASCAR next year. I think it's rather fitting for him and should be entertaining none the less. It maaaay even persuade me to watch a race or two, most likely the road courses that I actually really like watching.

It'll be interesting. I think he's going to have an up and down first year, but as long as he stays committed to it, he will achieve success. NASCAR has to love it - an international driver that has a huge fan base.

I'm curious as to what Ron Dennis means by releasing him from his contract and then saying "not so fast, he's still a McLaren employee". Either way I think JPM has driven his last Grand Prix for awhile.

Good. He wasn't hackin it in F1. As dirty as I feel saying it, I'll probably watch a couple NASCAR races just to see how he does.
