I want to import my own icon for my profile but appparently I don't have "permission." What's the deal?

you can't upload icons you have to have the icon on line first and link it to your profile

If I understand you Colin you're talking about using the icon's URL to set my avatar in my profile. Unfortunately, I can't do that either. "Import Custom Avatar" and "Set Custom Avatar URL" are not checked under Permissions. I need to know what these "Permissions" are and if there is something I have to do to get permission.
