hey all in SAE land...hope your preparations for the comp are going well

After the SAE event in May i am going to be travelling around a bit and am wondering if theres anyone out there who wants to meet up for a beer or two in their hometown?? (same goes for anyone after the Formula Student event)

Im travelling around the US for about a month, before heading over to the UK for the Formula Student event, continuing after that to Scotland, France, Portugal, Italy and back through Asia

Drop me an email if you think your town is worth visiting, and if i dont catch up with any of you then make sure you all stop by the Wollongong pits in Detroit and say g'day, or look out for a Wollongong shirt at FS!! Big Grin

Always happy to have visitors in our shop and it is a cool place if you like car stuff. Bellingham, Washington – about 90 miles north of Seattle. Offer is always open to everyone.

I think you absolutely need to visit Firenze where the Renaissance grew and where the first engineers worked (Leonardo, Michelangelo)

http://www.comune.firenze.it/servizi_pubblici/turismo/menu4_inglese.html

If you are lucky you can also visit the Mugello Circuit

http://www.mugellocircuit.it/english/index.htm

Last but not least, you can visit us, the FIRENZE RACE TEAM V2,
you are welcome (and everyone with you).

Anyway I hope to see you in Detroit and at FS.

Hi Mark,

you are welcome.

This is the Italian kart federation website, it is still under construction (no english version), if you follow the links you'll find the July races in Italy (Jesolo too).

>gare
>>calendario gare nazionali
>>>luglio

Many regional races and two Italian championship races.

See you soon.

How are you getting back? If you aren't flying back from Detroit, that opens your options up a bit. Wink

More than welcome to ride back to Alabama (I think it'd be OK. Wink ) but there's no ticket back! Big Grin But it is warm here, and you could fly back from Atlanta.

Auburn is cool but considering all the options you have in the US, maybe not the best one. Wink

I'm a guy from Auburns' team to give you an update, we will have atleast 4 people staying for the MoteC convention after the competition and it is lasts the three days following detroit. So as far as I know you could catch a ride with us, but I'll get a confirmation soon on the subject

If your travels take you to north Idaho, let me know. This area is only nice if you like fly fishing, waterskiing, or white water rafting though. Oh, then there is the inner-tubing, hiking in the mountains, beer drinking, and any water-sport you can do without an ocean.

Plus, we are on the way to see Western Washington U and U of Washington. Wink

Sorry Handles I missed your reply back then. Catch up with me at comp, I'll be at the MoTec seminar so we might stop by the SVSUGP if we have time. Or at least have a couple beers with the competitors off-site Big Grin
