Hello,

I'm building a car that would be best described as a cross between a DSR, a Formula SAE, and an Ariel Atom. I'm aiming for 900 pounds empty with a pushrod suspension and provision for a third spring arrangement. I don't mind sourcing springs and dampers from different places. What low cost coil-overs would be appropriate for a car in this general size class?

I am really in the bargain basement for price shopping, so I'm going to completely ignore any option above $550 per corner and I'd rather be under $300 per.

I will not have downforce initially but it's just a matter of time before the car gets front and rear wings. Sidepods may be in the cards in the longer term, something like the 1975 Ferrari 312T Formula 1 car.

For the curious:

Thanks,

Tanners are in your price range, but may be too small.

Thanks. I know the name Tein from the Miata crowd, but I didn't know what size range they covered. Tanners are a new one to me. It'll be interesting to get information.

I also notice that I can't spell in my subject line.
