had a mitsubishi magna from '94, that was a really good car. acceptable engine, pretty hopeless handling, but it had the best fuel economy i had ever seen and never let me down once. the only problem with it was that when the f&%kwits serviced it, they adjusted (or broke) something which made it run like crap when it was cold. had a nice loud stereo in it too, i like my music. sadly, this wonderful car was sold to a little old italian lady cause i was out of cash. ive always wondered if all italians, even little old ladies, enjoy doof-doof music...

my parents had the stupidity to buy a 2000 model magna, the v6. the car has some of the worst handling characteristics i have ever felt. the v6 is a complete overkill, not because its too powerful, but because the front wheel drive couldnt even get the power of a lawnmower to the ground. has the turning circle of a b-double semi tralier. the accelerator goes from 0 throttle to 100% in 1mm, and the other 100mm of travel does nothing. has very powerful power steering, but as soon as you turn the wheel quickly it cant keep up. great fun when you are trying to turn into a sidestreet and the stupid steering cant turn quick enough.

anyway, guess i shouldnt really whinge about a free car, but its just such a piece of shit i cant help myself!

then there are some days when i get to drive the family's supercharged calais... Big Grin

- if it isnt coming, you need a bigger tool.

Make the best of it. Get a bumper sticker that says "my other car is a piece of shit too"

Funniest one I've seen, except for "if you are what you eat, then I'm fast, cheap and easy" Big Grin

The difference between racing and a crack addiction is that racing costs more and has a more adverse affect on your social life

Datsun 260z (2 seater)with 280z engine, sensational car unbeaten for pure driving pleasure!! 1000kg car with atmo 2.8L straight 6, something about those extractors but it makes the sweetest noise ever. equaled by the mini only (driving pleasure that is).

otherwise an '85 Celica 2.4 (IRS) peace of crap is falling apart on me now as I try to sell it.

Hey all,
My daily driver is an '89 Z24 2.8 with some nice mods:
Port and polished heads
Crane Cams Powermax Cam and lifters
Stock headers - Borla 2.5" Exhaust (after collector)
Wiseco Pistons
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Moroso Ignition and Wires
Poly Suspension Bushing (energy suspension)
Eibach lowering Springs (waiting for me at home)
Koni Sport Shocks (waiting for installation)
Might get a 2 stage NOS kit, but not sure yet...I have no numbers for power right now..it's back home and I'm in Switzerland..and most of this was done before I left!

I also have an '82 Honda CB900F Super Sport...she may be old but she'll lay to waste most 90's 600's and 900's and every ricer ego I've encountered! (150 bhp / 80 lb-ft torque..., around 600 lbs with me on it, ricers have no hope in hell!)...not bad for a 21 year old bike! Stock power is 110 I believe and I have squeeked 150 out of it (high -lift cams, larger valves, 2" exhaust, K&N filter, Modified Intake, Wiseco Ceramic Pistons waiting for me at home)..she's fast!

I dunno what it's like in calgary.....well actually I do....but we get only a few months of snow here in T.O. .....and that's when the Civic and Accord come out. Which is kinda similar to the NSX.....cept for the snarl from the rear and the punch in your back past 3 grand.

How do you post an image from your own computer? not from a website.
