Hey all,
Run around in the mighty 5spd 98 VT Commodore on the street.

And have an 82 Automatic Toyota Celica as the paddock basher.

I must recommend, if you ever need a car that doesnt break, buy a Toyota. The hell that car has had is incredible, and she keeps on coping it with bugger all compliant.

It's been a while since I first posted... still have the 924S, but haven't touched it in a while. Will be turned into a track car shortly.

Cars that have passed...
1993 Subaru Impreza - RIP (bare bones 1.8L FWD wagon that was begging for a WRX or 2.5RS engine/driveline after some lady pulled out in front of me... took the cheque instead as I wouldn't have had the swap ready by winter)

1990 Acura Integra DA9 - SOLD (nice solid car, but needed major suspension work... fixed quite a bit of it and sold it due to finding the car below)

Current:
1997 Jetta GL 1.9L TD-IDI - my daily driver. Picked it up with only 206 000 kms on the clock... has averaged 36+ mpg even though I drive the crap out of it and is in need of a turbo rebuild. It's currently sitting on oldskool/rare 15" OMP/Mille Miglia rally wheels and Neuspeed/Bilstein sport suspension goods. I hope to have an aluminum skidplate fabricated before ski season rolls in. The only other thing needed to complete the rally-look are rally mudflaps and the driving lights to compliment the Bosch yellow fogs.

Regularly i drive a 1976 MGB that is mine. Blown up the motor twice driving to and from school. Cruises at 4200 rpm at 75 mph for 2.5 hours.

Through out the summer, ill drive my parents cars while rebuilding mine:
94 Suburban
05 Suburban
93 GMC Truck
99 Mercury Sable
84 Porsche 911
69 Jag E type

Go Karts:
00 Emmick Venom with Briggs 4 cycle engine
04 Emmick Intimidator with 125 Shifter

Then of course the Washington State FSAE Car.

We find really sweet deals on cars, then we dont sell them.

My real car is my '67 Mustang:

I restored/modified it in high school, the only thing its seen the shop for was the engine block and crank for machining. Only had it dynoed once, right after I finished it, and it made 250HP at the wheels with a 15:1 AFR. Got a better carb on it (which still needs a lot of tunning) and now traction is a big problem. How big? Well, I'm running the 1/8th mile at 82MPH, but my best E.T. is only 9.14. 60ft times are around 2.3's Roll Eyes Got a lot of mods in it and a LOT of time, it was a rust-heap when I got it.

My other ride is a 1994 Volvo 850 Wagon. You can see it in the background in this photo:

It's got more than 300,000 miles on it. I don't know exactly because the odometer broke at 273,000 3 years ago. It's on its second engine now, because the owners before me (the parents) somehow forgot to keep oil in it... Drove it 1.5 miles home with NO bearing on the number 2 rod. A little slappy. Great pit car. Still gets 30MPG on the highway. Its raging 170 HP 5-cyl is a torqueless wonder.

Started off with a junk, green 1972 Volkswagen Beetle and restored it. I know, weird first car, but it was cheap and is what got me into cars and engineering in the first place. So it worked out all right.
I now drive a red '84 Porsche 944 that I got real cheap because the clutch and water pump were shot and nobody knew how to fix it. I wish it was the 944 Turbo model, but maybe one of these days I will upgrade! This summer my co-op at Toyota allowed me to get my new toy pictured at left
1999 VFR 800 Interceptor
I absolutely love this bike!!! Actually haven't even driven my car at all this summer. I would be a little worried about it not starting, but you can't beat German Engineering for performance and reliability!

My first car was a 1974 Mk1 Escort.

For anyone who has never heard of this car outside the UK, it is the most successful race / rally car in the world. Weighed about 1850lbs (850kg) had a live rear axle and fook all grip. I fitted a fuel injected 2.0 engine and it went well. Stripped out and caged. Damn I miss it!

Here is mine after a rebuild:

1997 Saturn SL2 - cheap on gas and insurance

1993 Chevy 3/4 ton long bed - I like trucks. Tows everything I've hooked up so far without a hickup. Slow as dog crap, but didn't have a problem.

1994 Saturn SL2 - hopefully I'll be able to get this thing running by summer and off to the drag strip I go.

Yet another DSM beater here. When my 91 AWD finally bites it I'll probably heist the good bits and buy another just like it, only from somewhere outside the rust belt.

I also ride a 900SSie, 82 Yammie Vision, and a Honda Rebel 250 (only reliable vehicle on the list). Working on a 67 CL175, maybe on the road next spring.

Started off with a wrecked 94 Camaro, and rebuilt that, including putting in a new dash, which btw I'll probably never do again, put a flowmaster exhaust on it, pretty nice in the end. Now I've got a 98 Firebird, very sweet car. Both cars have been black and fast, and so will the next one, hopefully a WS6 Trans Am if I get lucky and find one cheap....
