Here's my 1989 BMW 325i, 2.8l 9:1 turbo with Megasquirt. And once E85 is available around here, I'm going to re-tune for it.

Thanks guys,

That turbo in the picture was a Garrett T04e, with a .68a/r turbine housing, and a .50a/r compressor. My new turbo is a Holset H1C, from a Cummins Diesel (compressor has a 55mm inducer, and 83mm exducer, it's not toooo big). That dyno graph was with 16psi.

Here's the new turbo on the left.

Tim, sounds like quite the turbo Wink How much power does it have?

See ya guys around,

Looks like a lot of us have the same taste!!!

First Car: 1972 super beetle (green)

Second Car: 1984 Porsche 944 (red) just sold it! sad day!

Third Vehicle: 2003 Chevrolet Duramax (slightly modded) 12.7 @ 105 in the quarter on the 'hot tune' running 40 psi of boost

Most fun vehicle and primary driver 8 months of the year: 1999 Honda VFR800 (red)

Sorry, I am too lazy to post pics. I should probably just host them on a site so I can.

looks like we have ourselves a Devil Z....

this is my baby. school and poor budgeting (excuses, excuses...) has kept me from getting the paint and top redone. My second choice is a Datsun 510, though.

I just love it. Haven't really done much to the engine except the Filter and Exhaust, but would work on it very soon, specially the ECM. Rest all is clearly visible. Smile

Just a few picks of my 1989 BMW 320i

It's been duely tweeked but since i've got almost zero income after quitting my old job (Ex maintainence tech) mostly been just keeping it on the road.

However... doesn't mean i could upgrade Big Grin

Spec's below:
BMW 320i
> Full Bilstein suspension and springs from 325i sport
> Powerflex polyuethene bushes in Subframe, diff mount and eccentric M3 front arm bushes.
> E46 Rear top mounts.
> 3.91:1 Limited slip differential
> Trip computer from SE spec 325i
> TSW Imola 16in wheels (came with car) / 14in BMW 'Bottletop' alloys for drift days Wink
> Sparco Evo 2 Bucket Seat
> TRS 6 point harness (only 4 point installed, no crotch strap mounting points)
> BMW Leather Sports interior (Already in car)
> New wheel bearings from SKF (To be installed)
> Braided Brake Lines (To be installed)
> New BMW OEM RTA bushes (To be installed)
> E36 Rack conversion (To be installed)

On the cards for reworking
> New Exhaust System
> Anti roll bars from 325i Sport / Touring
> M20B25 engine + gearbox , either chipped.. or turbo'ed... Big Grin
> New sunroof panel and a respray...

But more funds will probably be invested in the 'Track project' IF i can ever find some space where i can work on it reguarlly Frown

Can you guess what it is yet..?

(Clue: It's German, RWD.. but NOT BMW!)
