Hello, I was curious to see what everyone is using as their design report format. I noticed that SAE has switched to a new single column formatting for technical papers. Has a lot of people around here stuck with the dual column format or switched to the new formatting? Thanks!

The problem with columns is it is a PITA to read on a computer screen!

I print out all the DRs of the cars I judge, so that is no big deal.

Neither columns or essay layout is going to gain or lose points, it's the content that does that!

Most of us Design Judges are not as young as we think we are, especially in the eyesight (age) and hearing (noisy cars in our youth) so please use a nice open font (Ariel) and go up one point size. When you are talking with the judges, speak up =]
