Do we have to include slicks, wet tires, and all eight rims for them in the cost report?
When you think about it, when you buy a car, do you get two sets of tires with rims? |

'sup Matty,
I would only consider one set of wheels and tires... after all that is all you need to get the thing rolling. I would consider an extra set of rains as an added operating expense as with any other passenger vehicle or racer... A set of tires won't last a full season of racing, but you don't add that to the initial selling price. Andris Kanins McGill Racing Team 2002/2003 Body Design 2003/2004 Suspension |

You only need to cost what is actually on the car... so use the cheaper set of tyres/rims and change on the car as necessary for track conditions.

Hi Matt
Check out rule 4.3.7.3. You only have to cost your declared "dry" tyres & rims. These must be fitted on the car for the cost event judging. Simon Warwick Formula Student |
