Does anyone have Retail, and actual purchase price for Goodyear D1385, R065 - 20.0x6.5-13
tires? Can't find it on thier site.

We were just talking with Goodyear and they told us about a new compound for FSAE that is R160. The only thing they could tell us about this compound is that its harder than R065 and the price is the same. I've tried searching for more info on this, but haven't been able to find any. Does anybody know anything else about this compound?

We've used it for fun drives at the end of last season. It definately lasts longer than R065 compound, but is also a lot harder.

To clarify, it is not actually a new compound for Formula SAE. If you go onto Goodyear website, you will find it under formula tires.

And also, they cost about 40$ more than the FSAE special, but last way longer, but don't give the same results on the track. It is a good tire for newbies to slam the brakes and lock the wheels without leaving a flat spot on the tires. (or maybe a small one, but not as dramatic as on the soft compound)

We asked for GY tyres and the price is 112$ in the USA.

183$ to be exact in Canada

We got quoted $140 for either compound in Ontario. Both are the same price they said.

Oh ya, were? We bought our's from Competition Tire Canada down in Niagara-On-the-Lake. Just a couple of weeks ago, I bought the fsae special for 135$ each.

Ours were from Competition Tire too, but they said their prices had just gone up. Guess we should have purchased early to save a few bucks.
