Are the water pump and thermostat included in the cost of the engine, or must they be costed with the cooling system?

Thanks

I always included it with the engine.

Good job starting so early.

If you have any doubts, I always just check the appendix. Unless you have some really unique parts, it should be really easy to fill out the report using all of the items listed in the appendix.

The FSAE rules people replied to my e-mail. They said that the thermostat and water pump are both included with the cost of the engine.

We also had a question about tubing. We asked them if 4130 Chromoly tubing can be costed by the pound, which makes it very inexpensive. They said that it has to be costed by the pound, not by its length, which is good news to us.
