Hi guys. I am in need of an intake cam for the FZR600 motor (any year '89-'98). As long as it is in good working order, I am interested. Thanks!

Although I don't have a cam for you, it might help in your search to know that YZF600 cams are identical in size and profile.

I thought this too, but then I looked at the parts fiche and looking at the cams, it would appear that the YZF runs a different firing order than the FZR. They have different part numbers too.

I would be willing to bet some money that they are the same (almost every other internal engine part is), but with dual coils, batch fire injection, and a 'flat' crank...you'll never notice the difference Smile

Another point towards identical cams and not a differnet firing order is megacycle and web cams both sell the same part number cams for FZR400, 600, and YZF600.

Hmm. Interesting. I'll have to see if I can find out more. I did, however find a set of cams on ebay. I should be getting them today. Thanks for trying to help VFR750R. Smile
