Wondering if anyone has a base-map for the restricted or even unrestricted 600rr motor. any type of standalone's file is acceptable, we have not purchased a unit...possibly we can work a deal....

I remember talking with some of you guys in Michigan. I can help you out if you are still having problems later in the year with getting something set up. Truthfully, we just switched to the RR and I don't even have anything set up. I am currently reading
"How to Modify and Tune Engine Management Systems" by Jeff Hartman

I would recommend reading that as a start. We us a Motec M4 unit, but I hear the Performance Electronics Units are pretty good for starting teams because they provide a base map and their software is probably easier to use than Motec's which is in DOS. Motec has a wide band lambda sensor though, so that is a huge plus!
