Hello guys and girls,

we are looking for suppliers of 4130 Chromoly steel in Europe, since it turns out to be a "very exotic" material here in Greece, and with our last car we had a little trouble to order it. So we are looking for suppliers in Europe (We have found several in the U.S. or in Australia, but the custom taxes will be very high).

I am not sure if it is forbidden to post company names, if it is a personal message would be great ,containing company name and some contact info (web address, phone or email)

The problem you are having is likely due to the fact that 4130 is a AISI standard (American Iron and Steel Institute). Many countries have their own standards and names for nearly the same alloy. Hopefully some European teams will chime in and let you know the actual names.
