- being advanced within one month from the "2nd Miss Formula SAE Italy 2009" (most embarassing award ever, especially for the organizers of the event)to the team captain of TU Graz Racing Team Smile

The early summer nights/mornings when working in our new store always had some priceless moments:

Every morning shortly before sunrise a bunch of rabbits from the woods nearby assembled around our older racecars in front of the shop to do their shaggy shaggy thing.

Regrettably we all were so exhausted that nobody actually took a photo of these scences. Big Grin

Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.

Kind of ironic that the first hit that Google finds is this post, haha

I love how excited formula guys get at the thought of an attractive female being genuinely interested in FSAE/FS... especially those that actually make worthwhile contributions to their team and don't just hang around the shop.

Perhabs an explanation to everybody who didn't have the oportunity to be at the award ceremony at FSAE Italy last year.

They had a price for Miss FSAE Italy and they had a "Highest female participation award" for the team which brought the most girls. On the other hand they didn't have awards for most of the disciplines.
I think that Miss FSAE thing lasted an hour or something until some Italian girl got the award and Ruth was second.
I still can't believe that this actually happened. The whole time I thought I was only dreaming. Still not sure whether it was a good or a bad dream...

I don't know that getting the pick of the litter from any FSAE team is anything to really write home about.

Also, isn't rampant dating within the team (teamcest?) a really good way to derail everything?

some wise words scrappy, since i am not a native spaker of english, took a time for me to get what "to take the pick of the litter means", but you are probably right Smile

by the way i did not mean to offend anyone, trying to be funny or sarcastic in a language that is not your mother tongue, sometimes causes some misunderstandings

I still can't believe some other incidents during that weekend Wink

Nevermind, the italian way of supervising a competition is like an old mid-70's F1 race. "Fuck the safety, this is a sport for real men with big parties and beautiful girls."

I wouldn't worry about it. If there is a universal Formula language, it is sarcasm.

Reminds me of something I heard a girl say about the amount of guys on an engineering course: "The odds might be good, but the goods are a litle odd."
