We are having issues getting splines cut for output shafts to our 012000 Torsen 1 "University Special" diff, which uses audi splines. Every shop we approached has thrown up their hands or wanted to charge us an insane amount to get them cut. Where do people in the U.S. (preferrably northeastern) get splines for these diffs cut? Because I'm about ready to break out our hand grinder and hack the damn things myself.

We cut our own last year by hand. It's excruciating but if all else fails do it yourself. Takes many hours.
