Has anyone measured the output voltage of the stock Honda F4 crank sensor? I would like to find out the idle output voltage and the maximum voltage at about 12000rpm...

One VR sensor I recall had an output of +-0.5V at several hundred RPM and +-20.0V at >9k RPM.
I'd recommend getting a scope (I'm sure there is one at your University the team could borrow for an hour) and measure it yourself. That way you know for sure and don't have to rely off the word of an internet stranger (regardless of how awesome they may be). 2006 QUT Motorsport 2008 University of Waterloo FSAE |
