I am a member of first year Indian team.We are using power commander 3 .I would like to know whether we can make our own maps or do we have to use the maps provided by the company?

pc3 comes with a 2 page manual read it and play around with the software , this is also common sense btw....

Yes, you can make your own maps, that's the whole draw of getting a power commander

Go to Megamanual.com and click on the link in the menu bar on the left that says "Configuring Megasquirt II." Much of the document is specific to megasquirt, but it is worth reading, because there is a lot of good basic info about writing maps.
