Regarding Subject, I have a Problem.after pracipetation treatment of parts of alloy Rene 125, were found not correctly straightened. our production department did straightening after precipitation treatment which is technically not allowed.

Is it possible to Re Heat Treat (Homogenizing, Solution Treatment and Precipetation Treatment) those parts which are already precipetated hardened.
I already rejected these parts.

Here's my take on it:

By annealing (or similar process) the impurities (which have entered your part while precipitation hardening it) will dissolve into the materials lattice (rather then forming its own lattice). This will change the composition of the main material and it might not respond the same way to a second round of precipitation hardening.
